Went for a walk in the beautiful New Forest in the South of England. Seeing things differently can sometimes help us to change our perspective on life, circumstance and creativity.
The New Forest is an incredible place with wild horses everywhere and wide open expanses. Finding a GPS survey monument I took a photograph and imagined it still being there thousands of years from now. Countless strangers had walked by, so many stories, so many conversations. The world changed beyond recognition. It felt both slightly sad and liberating to explore these thoughts, this motionless monument, full of stories. If it could speak, or make a sound....what would it sound like to the ears of those alive long after us?
